Sunday Hike and Trip To North

Sunday, the MBIers took a beautiful hike in the desert nearby where they stayed at Sde Boker. Behind the hostel is a Wadi (valley), in between the Negev (desert) mountains floods. During the rain season, which is the winter in Israel, this area floods, but during the summer is totally dry and makes for a great location to take a tiyul (hike). The group spent their morning here before heading to the North. The bus ride to their hostel in Peki'in took about five hours. When they arrived there it was already evening and after dinner watched the World Cup final together.
