Tnua Achot Continued At Kibbutz Ravid

Machaneh Tnua Achot (camp sister movement) kicked off its first full day as a machaneh early this morning today go on a tiyul (hike) together. Their hike took them on a trail half way to the nearby city of Karmiel. Here are the two locations near each other on the map

When they reached the halfway point all of the chanichim, both North American and Israeli were picked up and taken to Kibbutz Ravid where they will stay through Sunday. Kibbutz Ravid, founded in the 1990's by movement graduates of Hanoar Haoved (members of Dror Yisrael), is home to a seminar center that hosts Hanoar Haoved youth and graduates from all over Israel all year round. When they reached Ravid they showered and got ready to bring in Shabbat together.

Together, representatives from both movements led Kabbalat Shabbat and enjoyed Shabbat dinner. Then, they wrapped up their night with musicale and performed music for each other from both cultures.
